I got a good deal on this stuff and I wanted to try something to have with dinner and relax with on a weeknight, and the Winner’s Tank fit the bill.
This was extremely easy to drink, with a slight touch of alcohol and a bit of a mineral touch to it.
The odd thing was that it was not memorable at all. It was a great wine to sit with on a weeknight and drink while I watched TV, but I did not say to myself “OMFG ponies I need to review this right now”. However, it was a long week at work and I was working late, and it is possible that in my tired state I did not appreciate it to the full extent that I could.
I think that in a few months in the deep calm of summer I will bring a bottle of this over to Jeff’s house and get a second (from me) and third (from Jeff) opinion about this stuff. I have already established that it is tasty and does not kick my head like a mule when drank late at night, but I need to concentrate on tasting it rather than drinking it next time, if you know what I mean.
